LGBTQ Welcome Week 2012

Hello all, and welcome to the new term. We hope you are all settling in well. To kick off the new year we have plenty of events for you to get involved in and meet all of the new members.

 

Canal Street Tours
(Second Tour: 18:00, outside Richmond Tea Rooms, Thursday 20th September)
(Third Tour: 20:00, outside Oxford Road Students’ Union, Tuesday 25th September) 
New to Manchester or new to the scene? Join our events officer, Joe, for one of his famous Canal Street tours, where he will show you all the best places to be on the street.

 

Welcome Week Fayre (17:30 – 19:30, Friday 28th September)
Join us at the North Campus Students’ Union for freebies and offers from local bars & clubs, sports groups and charities. Then, afterwards, come along on the annual bar crawl around the gay village (see below).

 

Welcome Week Bar Crawl (19:30, Friday 28th September)
The annual bar crawl is back, and better than ever! We also have a limited number of bar crawl t-shirts available at only £5 each (first come first served).

 

LGBTeaQ and Scones (14:30 – 18:00, Thursday 20th September)
Join the society for a relaxed Welcome Week event at Richmond Tea Rooms. The quaint surroundings of the tearooms provide the perfect atmosphere to relax and meet new people.
